In the above sentences the pronouns who and what are used to ask questions,
Pronouns which are used to ask questions are called Interrogative Pronouns.

Remember: -

  1. Which is used when there is a choice.
  2. What is used for things.
  3. Who and Whom are used for persons.
  4. Whose is used to show possession.
