Present Progressive Tense

Piggy is reading,
The above sentence shows that piggy is reading even now as we are talking about it. To show an action, which is happening (in progress) when we are talking about it, We use the Present Progressive Tense.
To get the present progressive tense we write the present tense of to be (is/are) and adding to the verb in he present tense
E.g. is running.

Remember : - 'Is' is added in case of singular nouns/pronouns,
E.g. He is drinking.

'Are' is added in the case of plural nouns/pronouns
E.g. They are drinking
